CIISA publishes its Annual Report for 2024/25
CIISA has published its first Annual Report and accounts, covering the period 2024/25.
A key foundational year for CIISA, 2024/25 was a period in which hundreds of industry stakeholders were engaged and the direction of the organisation and its work was set.
The report explores the establishment of CIISA’s governance structure including the appointment of its Board, chaired by one of the UK’s most distinguished lawyers and accomplished legal and social reformers, Baroness Helena Kennedy KC LT.
Also established during the year was CIISA’s Board of Finance as part of its two-company structure to provide additional oversight, chaired by Lyndsey Jackson, Deputy Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Fringe Society.
The report covers the development and launch of the landmark, industry-endorsed CIISA Standards. The CIISA Standards are the first ever unified framework to set out the minimum standards of behaviour expected across the creative industries to ensure safe and inclusive working environments and have been widely embraced and adopted across the sector.
And the meticulous development of CIISA’s service model is examined, including how industry and freelancers have helped inform and shape services that will drive up standards and accountability across the creative sector.
